Outdoor Paradise

Protected from coastal winds, fog and milder temperatures than the coast and inland areas, Loon Lake is ideal for camping, picnicking, hunting, fishing, water-skiing, sunbathing, swimming and hiking. The natural setting among the large Douglas-Fir, Western Hemlock and Red Cedar trees, along with a sand beach, boating access and developed recreational facilities have made Loon Lake Lodge a popular scenic recreation area during the spring, summer and fall months. The fishing is the best in the coastal parts of Oregon with Largemouth Bass, Trout and many other varieties.


 

Water Sports

Loon Lake Watersports & Marina, LLC offers a complete selection of boats, WaveRunners, Houseboat and Pontoon boat plus accessories available for rent. A boat launch ramp and docks for those who bring their own boat to Loon Lake is available for a nominal fee.



Lodge & Deli

Our lodge has deli with a view of gorgeous Loon Lake from our deck during our season April 1st to Oct 31st. Our convenience store and gift shop offer the basic needs for your Loon Lake Resort vacation. Just minutes from the coast Oregon Coast area, the drive to Loon Lake is very beautiful, offering opportunities to see wildlife, nature and a hidden valley. You can explore the Umpqua River, see the Dean Creek Elk Viewing Area, or visit the famous Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.
